Each brand has its own cm chart — Dainese and Alpinestars differ at the same chest size.
Measure head circumference with a soft tape above your eyebrows and ears. Match the cm value to the brand size chart (XS–XXL). Round and long-oval heads may need half a size up — use our fit finder with head shape for Shoei, Arai, AGV and more.
You need chest, waist, hip, height, and inseam in centimetres. One-piece leathers fit close to the body — compare all five fields to the brand chart, not chest alone. Alpinestars, Dainese, RST and Rev'it charts are built into our tool.
Snug but comfortable with armour in place. You should move your arms freely and zip up without strain. If chest is between two sizes, check waist and sleeve — our fit finder scores all measurements and suggests primary and alternative sizes.
No. Motorcycle brands use palm width and hand length in cm. Street glove sizes (S, M, L) do not match Alpinestars or Dainese MX/road charts. Always measure your hand and use the brand-specific chart.
Measure foot length in cm standing, then look up your brand chart. EU numbers (38, 39, 40…) and UK sizes (5, 6, 7…) are shown together on our boots, riding shoes and motocross boots charts. Calf circumference matters for touring and race boots — enter both in the fit finder.
Italian brands use different pattern blocks. Dainese often runs slimmer than Alpinestars or RST at the same letter size. Always use the exact brand chart — our tool applies manufacturer-specific sizing per brand.
Charts follow manufacturer cm ranges used globally; Indian riders use the same measurements. Buy from authorised dealers when possible and use our recommendation as a starting point — try gear on or check return policy for exchanges.
Our fit finder shows a recommended size and an alternative when you are on a boundary. For armour and leather, the smaller size often breaks in; for touring textiles and MX gear, the larger size may be more comfortable.
